Dr. Tova Friedman, one of the youngest survivors of Auschwitz, along with her daughter Taya Goodman, and her grandson, Aron Goodman, share their own story of what has connected them to their family history. They talk about how important it has been for the family to go back to Tova’s hometown of Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland and all the changes they found. As Tova says: “They cannot give our lost years back, they cannot give our families back, but at least we should be able to get our properties back so we can give it all to the next generations.”
