My father’s home & business were ‘Aryanized’. The family owned a ‘Kucheneinrichtungen’ store. We have no information on how my grandmother survived until a German record of her shows her name on a transport to Opole, Poland.

My mother’s family was ordered to evacuate their apartment within 24 hours while my grandfather was under arrest in the Gestapo headquarters. My grandfather was an independent sales rep of men’s textiles & had a warehouse where he kept merchandise which was seized.

My father’s father had a well-known, well to do extensive family in Przemysl, Poland. We have no information on what happened to them. The family is mentioned in ‘Sefer Pshemishel’ written by Arie Menczer, & available to be read online.

My mother’s grandfather on her mother’s side was a cattle dealer in Snyatin, Poland. No information exists of him & his son.

My mother’s grandfather on her father’s side was well to do & had a large home & a grocery/delicatessen as well as agricultural fields in Rabka, Poland. No information exists of his family. There was a little-known concentration camp near Rabka.
